- Click “Convert”, then download the files one by one or all together as a ZIP.
FAQ
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding is done by the heic2any library inside your browser; the files stay on your device.
JPG or PNG — which should I pick?
JPG is much smaller and works well for photos, messengers and social media. PNG is lossless but files are several times larger.
Is EXIF data (date, location) kept?
No, HEIC metadata is not copied into the resulting JPG/PNG. That is handy if you don’t want to share where a photo was taken, but keep the capture date elsewhere if you need it.
Why does conversion take a moment?
HEIC is compressed with the HEVC codec and the browser decodes it in software. An iPhone photo usually takes a few seconds; on first use the decoder itself is downloaded too.
What if I add a regular JPG?
The tool checks the file contents and tells you it is not HEIC. To switch between JPG, PNG and WebP, use the Image Converter.
