    FAQ

What does “Fit to image” mean?

Each page gets the size of the image itself (1 pixel = 1 point, 72 dpi) plus the chosen margins. Use it when you want a PDF without white bands around the pictures.

    How does auto orientation work?

For A4 and Letter, wide images go on a landscape page and tall images on a portrait page. You can also force portrait or landscape for every page.

    Are images cropped or stretched?

No. Each image is scaled to fit inside the margins with its proportions kept, and centred on the page.

    What happens to PNG transparency?

Every image is re-encoded as JPEG at the chosen quality, so transparent areas become white.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is built with the pdf-lib library on your device.
